Iranian animation ‘Bystander’ has been scheduled to be screened at the Madurai Film Festival in India.
Directed by Sheida Kashi, the animation is to compete at the 19th edition of the short and documentary film festival.
‘Bystander’ is a cinematic depiction of society that does not accept differences and is heading for annihilation.
The 8-minute animation has been previously screened at the Short to the Point Film Festival in Romania, the Banjaluka Film Festival in Bosnia, the 9th edition of the Iran Independent Animation Celebration and the 4th edition of the Tehran Animation Festival.
'Bystander' crew includes Saloumeh Golnaraqi (background), Bita Aliabadi (character design), Azad Sadeqi (rig), Shahryar Biranvand (animation), Hamid Pakdel (sound) and Nima Javidi (dubbing).
Some 50 movies will be screened at the Indian event which slated is to be launched on December 6-10, 2017, in the city of Madurai in India.
